Support Worker - Milestone House

Are you passionate about helping people and making a difference in their lives? Join us as a Support Worker, where you'll play a key role in providing vital support and assistance to individuals on their journey to greater independence and wellbeing.

Location: Milestone House, Derby
Pay Rate: £14.24 per hour
Hours: Full-time, shift pattern covering 7 days a week (Two shifts daily between 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM)

As a Support Worker, you will:

• Provide tailored support to individuals, delivering regular 1:1 sessions to set and achieve personal goals.


• Assist with daily living skills, including budgeting, managing finances, and accessing benefits.


• Promote health and safety through site inductions and by monitoring activities, ensuring a safe environment for all.


• Build positive relationships with individuals using approaches such as Behaviour Change and Motivational Interviewing.


• Maintain accurate records and report any incidents, risks, or safeguarding concerns promptly.


• Collaborate with a range of professionals and services to ensure the best outcomes.


• Empower individuals to move forward with their lives through person-centred planning and practical assistance.

• Organisational skills to manage casework, complete risk assessments, and support plans.
