We’ve got an exciting role available with a leading global manufacturer of electronic instruments and electromechanical devices, operating in the aerospace and defence sectors.


About the Role: As a Hydraulic Technician, you’ll be part of a dynamic team specialising in the disassembly, inspection, and assembly of hydraulic components.

This includes:


  • Disassembling components and carrying out detailed inspections to diagnose faults, wear, damage, or corrosion.
  • Using precise calibrated measuring equipment to ensure high-quality standards.
  • Reassembling parts and supporting final testing using technical data.
  • Collaborating with test bay engineers and ensuring all necessary documentation is completed.
  • Strictly adhering to health, safety, and environmental standards, including CAA, EASA, and FAA compliance.

What You’ll Bring:


  • Hydraulic Engineering Background: You’ll need experience in hydraulic engineering.
  • Qualifications: Minimum GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths and English.
  • Attention to Detail: High levels of accuracy, numeracy, and literacy are essential.
  • Team Player: You’ll thrive in a cross-functional team, working well with others to meet deadlines.
  • Customer Focus: You can build strong relationships with customers, ensuring their satisfaction.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Both written and verbal, with the ability to follow detailed compliance manuals.
  • Organised and Motivated: You can manage multiple tasks and prioritise your workload efficiently.
