Residential Home Manager

An excellent new opportunity has arisen for an experienced Home Manager to manage an amazing care home based in the Southport, Lancashire area.

You will be working for one o f UK's leading health care providers

This is a specialist residential home highly equipped to care for adults living with an acquired brain injury (ABI) or a progressive neurological condition

As the Home Manager your key responsibilities include:

• Oversee the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring high standards of care and compliance


• Lead, support, and develop your team to deliver person-centred care


• Support the assessment and implementation of individual care plans


• Ensure a safe, positive, and nurturing environment for residents


• Promote dignity, wellbeing, and independence in all aspects of care


• Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to achieve the best outcomes

The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:

• Experience supporting individuals with Acquired Brain Injury (ABI)


• Experience working within neurological rehabilitation


• Experience in Tracheostomy management


• Experience supporting people who require long-term ventilation


• Understanding of budgeting and cost control


• Basic level of IT understanding including Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet


• Understanding the needs of people within the specific specialty of the service

*To be considered for this position you must hold an active NMC Pin or hold an NVQ/QCF Level 5 in Health & Social Care or be working towards this

The successful Home Manager will receive an excellent salary of £55,000 - £60,000 per annum.

This exciting position is a permanent full time role working 37.5 hours a week on days with some on call work.
