Senior Manual Machinist
We are looking for an experienced Manual Machinist to join a busy mechanical engineering workshop.
You will be involved in the manufacture and repair of components using manual (non-CNC) lathes, milling machines, and vertical borers, with occasional on-site work.
Key Responsibilities
Manual turning, milling, and boring of mechanical components
Mechanical fitting and repair work
Workshop-based role with occasional site visits
Participation in overtime and on-call rota
Ongoing training and skills development
Requirements
Time-served machinist with strong manual machining experience
Background in conventional lathes, milling or boring machines
NC and CNC experience beneficial but not essential
Reliable, adaptable, and comfortable with varied workloads
