Location: Manchester
Salary: £31,469 - £34,934 (including all extras)
Benefits: Private Health Insurance, Training, and Funding for Qualifications
Hours: 40 hours per week, averaging 2 sleep-ins per week, with occasional waking nights as required.


We are seeking Senior Residential Support Workers to join our growing team.

About the Role

As a Senior Residential Support Worker, you will care for young people aged 7 to 17 with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) difficulties in a 3-bed residential home.

Your role includes creating a safe, nurturing environment, promoting independence, and preparing young people for adulthood.


Key Responsibilities


  • Provide tailored, high-quality care.




  • Support young people's education, hobbies, and development.




  • Promote independence and prepare young people for adulthood.




  • Maintain records and communicate with professionals.




  • Safeguard and protect young people.




  • Work with families, carers, and external agencies.




  • Lead, mentor, and support the team.




What We're Looking For


  • Experience in residential childcare.




  • Understanding of SEMH needs and trauma-informed care.




  • Strong communication and leadership skills.




  • Flexibility to work sleep-ins and occasional waking nights.




  • NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare (or willingness to obtain).
