Advanced Practice Physiotherapist

A great new opportunity is now available for an Advanced Practice Physiotherapist to join a specialist MSK service in Hertfordshire, working in partnership with local primary and secondary care providers to widen access to rapid, high-quality therapies for MSK and related conditions.

The service acts as a single point of access for patients who can be swiftly and easily directed to the most appropriate course of treatment, whether that’s in the community or in a secondary care setting.

From a local community hub, practitioners across disciplines and specialities – including orthopaedics, rheumatology and podiatry – can transform patient health and wellbeing.

As an Advanced Practice Physiotherapist, you will conduct detailed assessments for, advise on and implement tailored interventions to regain physical function and reduce movement-evoked pain for MSK- and rheumatology-related issues, referring patients for further investigations / the next step of their treatment pathway as appropriate.

You’ll have protected triage time and admin time daily, as well as support from doctors and the MDT for optimal patient care.

This is a permanent position, ideally full-time (37.5h, Mon-Fri).
