Mon-Fri, 8.00am -4.30pm

£22 per hour plus overtime x 1.5

 

 

The Job


This family run business specialises in the repair, refurbishment and painting of all types of commercial vehicles and pride themselves on having built a reputation for top quality work.

Their highly trained staff repair a diverse range of vehicles from GRP and Steel panelled refrigerated bodies to ambulances, coaches, tippers, curtainsiders, horseboxes and vans.

As a Panel Beater, you will play a very important role in achieving the organisational goals.

With great technical knowledge and an eye for detail, you will always prepare the vehicles to the highest standard with the customer in mind.

Knowledgeable and professional, you’ll work in your team to achieve the Bodyshop targets, delivering excellent quality to the customer without compromising safety.

To qualify for this position, you must have experience working as a Panel Beater and be confident in your own abilities.

Responsibilities.

• Always ensure suitable vehicle protection when working on a customer’s vehicle (Seat covers and protection to aperture’s)
• Maintain full anti corrosion techniques/application whilst carrying out vehicle repairs in line with approved methodology
• Carry out repairs in line with pre-determined repair methodology as stated on job card/estimate
• Comply fully to Health & Safety adherence within areas of responsibility
• Always keep all working areas within area of responsibility clean and tidy
• To ensure customer satisfaction is achieved in the repair of motor vehicles of all types
• To ensure acceptable quality standards are maintained throughout the repair process
• To carry out such work in a safe, economic, productive & efficient manner
• Maintain and ensure all dry & wet consumables are used and accounted for
• Carry out the repair process in line with Manufacturers standards, and utilise the tools/supplies in a way in which they were designed/intended to be used
• Trained or seeking training within areas of responsibility
• To have experience in the body/paint repair of motor vehicles
• To report all faults, defects noticed whilst working on vehicles

Requirements

• Relevant experience in a Bodyshop environment
• Be an experienced Panel Beater
• Work well under pressure
• Take pride in your work and have a keen eye for detail
• Deliver great customer service
• Be hardworking and self-motivated
• Have the drive to earn and succeed

• hours: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday, with overtime available from 7:00 AM
