Outpatient Pharmacist
A leading Surrey hospital is now looking for a registered Pharmacist to join them within their dedicated Outpatient Pharmacy.
As one of the UK’s most accomplished sites for oncology care, this hospital is a major cancer treatment hub for people from across the South East, amidst other clinical specialities such as emergency and paediatric medicine.
The outpatient pharmacy plays a definitive role in supporting patients with their ongoing treatment and in helping to manage symptoms and complications.
As an Outpatient Pharmacist, you’ll work closely with pharmacy colleagues, clinicians, and other partners in this capacity.
You’ll be involved in duties such as screening and dispensing prescriptions, providing medications counselling and advice, and supporting the development of both the team and scope of services to ensure patients receive the highest standard of care throughout their period of treatment.
Professional development is a strong part of the culture and the team is keen to offer you a supportive learning environment and clearly defined career pathways to consider.
Previous hospital and/or oncology experience is not essential.
Community and newly qualified Pharmacists can be considered and are welcome to apply.
