Service Care Solutions are looking for a Support Worker with Driving Duties to work at a Drug and Alcohol Detox Centre.

This is a permanent full time role working 9AM-5PM Monday - Friday.

We are looking for someone to cover primarily driving duties but offering support to the residents as well.

Responsibilities

• Provide a home service transport for service users accessing inpatient treatment


• To assist with picking up prescriptions and medications


• Assist with completing shopping trips with service users


• Support clients to external appointments such as doctors, dentist, court etc


• Assist with detox rehab outings, walking, outdoor activities, gardening projects etc


• Undertake client facing support, crisis welfare interventions and 1-1 support


• Update and Inform staff of safety risks when transporting service users to and from the unit or home including risk assessments

Requirements

• Relevant experience working in drug & alcohol field


• Experience working directly within drug & alcohol is not required, we would be open to applicants from similar fields such as Mental Health or Learning Disabilities


• Driving license and comfortable driving a small minibus
