Senior Educational Psychologist

A specialist education provider is now looking for an Educational Psychologist or SEND-trained Clinical Psychologist to join their therapies team in a senior role.

Based at a state-of-the-art campus with beautiful countryside grounds, the service is dedicated to enabling children and young people, aged 5 to 25, to access learning opportunities they may not otherwise be able to.

Learners are fully supported to be independent, make and achieve new goals, and develop the skills they need to thrive in society.

A high proportion of students experience symptoms related to epilepsy, ASD, severe learning difficulties, SLCN, and other sensory / physical needs that affect their learning and wellbeing.

As a Senior Educational Psychologist, you will lead a team of psychologists and play specialists in shaping and implementing supportive therapy programmes, based on sound assessment and personalised to each student’s individual circumstances, alongside the wider MDT.

The nature of the service means you will meet regularly with your caseload throughout their school and college life, allowing you to build strong rapport with students and their families.

This role will predominantly be on-site, face-to-face, so you will be able to take advantage of the pleasant working environment available on campus and see the contribution you make to students’ progress for yourself at every stage.

1 day per week working from home for indirect work can be accommodated if desired.

This is a permanent, full-time role for a Senior Educational Psychologist.

The therapy division is open Mon-Fri; full-time can look like 37.5h per week all year round or 40h per week term-time + 1 week only, according to your preference.
