Social Work Assistant required in Sheffield to provide support to Social Work staff within Fieldwork to improve and maintain the quality of the service provided to children and families in the area.

Initial 6 months with the possibility of extension.

Full time - 37 hours per week - Monday to Friday.

We are currently recruiting for an individual with experience working within Social Care, particularly with children and families, to provide support to Social Work staff.

POSITION DETAILS

PURPOSE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

* To work alongside social workers in assessing the levels of need of children and young people, their families and carers and identifying appropriate plans and services to support them.

* To carry out specific pieces of work identified as part of a plan to support children/young people and their families.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

* You must have experience working with children, young people and families

* You must have a valid UK driving license
