Job Title: End User Device (EUD) Projects, Events & Moves Lead


Location: Surrey


Rate: £300 per day

Job Purpose:
The overall purpose of the role is to ensure the EUD elements are delivered in line with the organisation's project, estates, and events schedule, working collaboratively with other ICT and Estates stakeholders with line manager responsibility.


Key Accountability Areas:



  • Have overall responsibility for the service delivery of EUD services for projects, moves, and events, ensuring alignment with business priorities.

  • Ensure service delivery aligns with governance and user experience frameworks.

  • Ensure knowledge articles, documentation, and training are carried out regularly in line with moves, events, and projects, providing a smooth transition into EUD Operations.

  • Collaboratively work on forecasting demand for EUD operations, moves, events, and projects, ensuring a full schedule is in place to manage upcoming activities.

  • Work with the EUD Operations Lead to ensure resource demand is met for EUD operations, moves, events, and projects, utilizing FTC and 3rd parties where necessary.

  • Coordinate and manage a team to ensure services are delivered to agreed KPIs, User Experience Agreements, and SLAs.

  • Work with estates and project managers to ensure there is a full schedule and documented requirements in place to manage any upcoming moves, events, and projects.

  • Work with the EUD Service Lead to ensure escalations, compliments, and complaints are managed.



  • Dimensions:
    Reports directly to the EUD Manager and works closely with various stakeholders including Business Partners, Infrastructure Services, Project and Programme Managers, Business and force end users, Third party suppliers, ICT service desk, and Facilities.


    Characteristics of the Role:



    • Expertise: Previous experience working in ICT operational delivery, managing a team within an End User Device organisation, delivering services to a high-quality standard in a fast-paced environment, resourcing management, prioritization skills, and an excellent customer experience ethos.

      ITIL V3 Foundation or ITIL V4 equivalent, experience managing 3rd parties, and experience using ServiceNow are desirable.

    • Must have capability to travel to different locations across both Forces and undertake all assignments in a timely manner.

      Due to the requirement to work flexibly, unsocial hours and personal safety for lone working; public transport may not be available or suitable at these times.

      For this reason, a full UK driving license is considered essential.
