Service Care Legal are recruiting on behalf of a London borough Council who are seeking a Principal Property Lawyer to join their team on a contract basis.

ROLE: Principal Property Lawyer
LOCATION: South London
RATE: £50.00 to £55.00 per hour
CONTRACT: 10 months with possibility of extension

Please note that this position would be hybrid working (1 or 2 days in the office per week)

The Role of the Principal Property Lawyer

• To manage a team in progressing complex caseload of Commercial Property matters through to completion


• Matters will include development and regeneration transactions including drafting and negotiating contracts, transfer and advising client's on governance


• To supervise more junior members of staff when required to do so

The Person

• A qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive or Barrister with a minimum of 5 years' PQE within property law


• Previous experience of working within a local authority would be essential for this position


• Demonstrated experience of progressing managing or supervising
