Our client based in Greater Manchester is currently recruiting for an Electrical Design Engineer to join their team as soon as possible.

This is a full time, permanent role based in their Manchester office but offering Hybrid working.

The purpose of the role is to work effectively as an Associate Electrical Engineer, you must support and lead the Electrical team to ensure technical and commercial targets are fulfilled.

A forward thinking Associate Electrical Engineer will lead and deliver innovative projects whilst promoting the company to existing and prospective clients driving success.

Responsibilities:

• Develop concept design and be actively involved with all projects under your direction.


• Develop fee proposals.


• Undertake project cost control and compile project invoices.


• Plan and manage project resources.


• Supervise staff under your direction and offer pro-active advice in relation to problem solving issues.


• Undertake and arrange effective mentoring of employees under your direction.


• Support other Senior Team Members in management of resource pool to ensure successful outcomes.


• Represent the company at design team meetings.


• Carry out thorough site investigations, complete inspections, identify issues and solve problems.


• Contribute the technical standards compliance for the company.


• Contribute to business development activities and marketing as required.


• Ensure designs meet required standards following our Integrated Management System.

Requirements:

Software Capabilities:

• Revit, AutoCAD, Trimble, Relux and BIM Environment.


• Office 365.


• File Maker.

Education Requirements:

• Ideally Chartership with IET/CIBSE.
