A client within the Public Sector based in the Northeast is currently recruiting for a Building Surveyor to join their disrepair team as soon as possible.

The client is offering a full time, temporary position on an ongoing basis with the ideal candidate having experience of working within a local authority within a social housing environment.

The Role

Key purpose of the role is to carry out property inspections, complete expert witness reports and scott schedule.

Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• oversee work through to completion


• attend site to inspect ongoing and complete work


• inspect domestics properties


• have experience of inspecting elements of reported disrepair

The Candidate

To be considered for this role you will require the below:

• Building Surveying Qualification


• Full valid driving licence


• Asbestos awareness training


• CSCS card

The client is looking to move quickly with this role and as such are offering £24.18 per hour Umbrella LTD Inside IR35.
