A client within the private sector based in Cheshire is currently recruiting for a Landscape Architect Design Lead to join their team as soon as possible.
The client is offering a full time, permanent position with the ideal candidate having experience of working within a consultancy environment.
The Role
Key purpose of the role is to manage projects from concept to delivery on site and working to quality, time and budget demands.
Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
developing and managing a portfolio of landscape design projects as Design Lead
consolidate and grow our existing landscape design team and expand our current portfolio and client base.
experience of the internal structures, relationships and processes of the Agency is not essential but would be an advantage.
providing support to planning and landscape planning colleagues
The Candidate
To be considered for this role you will require to be a Chartered Landscape Architect and have strong experience in landscape design and implementation.
The below skills would be essential for the role:
Strong experience in landscape design and implementation
Good communicator and able to work closely with clients as well as the internal teams.
Strong working knowledge of landscape design at a range of scales and across all
work stages
The client is looking to move quickly with this role and as such are offering up to £50,000 per annum plus various other benefits.

A client within the public sector based in Greater Manchester is currently recruiting for a Fire Safety Manager to join their team as soon as possible.
The client is offering a full time, contract position with the ideal candidate having experience of working within a local authority environment.
The Role
Key purpose of the role is to undertake all fire safety management duties, manage the FRA remedial works programme, act as the lead for property fires, liaise with GMFRS for and to work with the Building Safety Manager
Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Ensure the effective delivery of all fire safety works are completed to a high level of customer satisfaction, to a standard of legal compliance.
Providing assurance to the Head of Design & Delivery, Executive Management team and the relevant Corporate Board and the Housing Advisory Board on all fire safety compliance matters.
Support and advise on procurement of contractors for fire safety works, drafting work specifications and quality standards where needed.
Participate on tender of valuation and contractor selection as required.
Providing on going advice on the competency of contractors to undertake works and ensuring robust contract management of the selected contractors by monitoring quality of work to determine compliance with fire safety legislation and guidance.
The Candidate
To be considered for this role you will require current knowledge of relevant legislation, ideally with experience of practical application.
It will be essential to be in experiences in the below:
organised and methodical with a logical approach to building and fire safety.
team player who can work effectively with internal teams, external agencies and residents with the focus being on building and fire safety.
self-starter, with great IT skills who can produce reports and statistical data that provide good information that improves understanding

In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the estate and communal areas to a high quality cleaning standard and maintaining a safe and aesthetically pleasing environment for residents and members of the public.
Summary of Tasks & Responsibilities:
Attend to cleaning tasks in compliance with schedules and frequencies defined for each estate
Report Emergencies, communal repairs and any incidents of vandalism
Keep Internal and External areas free of graffiti
Manage bin areas including disinfect, rotate position for collection, deep clean etc.
Act as a point of contact for residents and ensure good communication is kept with all teams and departments.
Identify hazards and complete risk assessments on a daily basis and take remedial action as necessary.
