Recovery Worker
Service Care Solutions are supporting a reputable non-profit provider and they are currently recruiting for a Recovery Worker. As a Recovery Worker you will play a crucial role by supporting individuals that are suffering with Drug & Alcohol addiction.
The Ideal candidate needs to be experienced within the field but also someone who is highly driven and can identify positivity within a service user and have the ability to develop potential within. You will be responsible for managing a case load of client with Substance Misuse issues across Wiltshire.
You will be engaging with Adults and families to help support and help them on their road to Recovery.
You will work closely with a range of partner agencies to support young people to achieve positive changes whilst providing opportunities to improve their life chances for a brighter future. Key role and responsibilities for a Recovery Worker;
To build relationships with Adults and Families
Provide clients and families advice, information and help to access practical support
To carry a caseload of Clients with Substance Misuse issues
Carrying out assessments, care planning, brief and comprehensive interventions
Minimum requirements for a Recovery Worker;
Experience of working within the Substance Misuse field
Ability to work effectively and efficiently both independently and as part of a team
Experience of community engagement
Experience of delivering group work

Therapist
Service Care Solutions are currently supporting a Substance Misuse Charity, and they are looking for a Permanent Therapist to join their team.
You must have experience Counselling clients with Drug & Alcohol related issues, and have experience with ages from 16 and above.
Person Specification;
The day-to-day delivery of high quality therapeutic support to substance misusing clients who access our clients services via statutory or self referral.
Role Purpose of a Therapist;
To provide counselling, support in relations to substance misuse.
To communicate our clients vision and deliver its mission
To provide direct client services by way of group and key work
To meet key service objectives in line with our clients policies, procedures and data collection systems.
Main Duties & Responsibilities of a Therapist;
To deliver a structured therapeutic support programme through group-work sessions and one to one interventions.
To contribute to regular reviews of the client with probation (where appropriate) and health workers or other relevant agencies.
To counsel individuals about their substance use using recognised theoretical models.
To help individuals address their substance use and offending behaviour through an agreed action plan.
To maintain records of the client attendance and participation in the group programme.
To explore, implement and supervise a range of approaches, activities and exercises, which are designed to promote health and support individuals through detoxification/stabilisation.
To utilise recording and statistical systems to collect and collate data and to ensure that all administration, case recording, written reports etc are maintained to agreed standards.
To utilise a flexible approach and where required participate in activities and tasks which directly respond to client need.
Requirements of a Therapist;
Experience of direct work with Substance Misuse clients.
Two years experience of direct client work
Experience of developing and delivering therapeutic support programmes
Experience of providing direct client services, particularly assessment & Group Work
Experience of working in partnership with a range of statutory and non-statutory agencies
Our client offers comprehensive, integrative and holistic drug and alcohol addiction treatment services in a residential inpatient setting.
Providing effective and treatment for a variety of other Mental Health concerns.
