About Us: Windsor Clinical Health Services offers a unique dual-purpose environment, combining Mental Health services with Nursing Home care.
Our facility caters to both genders, providing a wide range of services including 18 dual registered nursing beds, 42 beds for nursing care and long-term rehabilitation, and 32 short-term rehabilitation beds.
In addition to inpatient care, we also deliver Outreach and Community services.
All accommodations are en-suite with TV lounges, dining areas, and personal care facilities. We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Ward Manager to lead our dedicated team. Main Responsibilities:
Provide strong managerial and clinical leadership for the ward staff, ensuring compliance with service standards and policies.
Participate in the hospital's on-call system.
Conduct performance reviews, supervisions, and annual appraisals for staff, identifying and supporting their development.
Lead regular ward meetings and facilitate effective communication within the team.
Manage recruitment, retention, and development of staff, promoting the service's values and ensuring a positive reputation.
Oversee staff sickness and absence management in line with service policies.
Ensure duty rotas are well-structured, aligning staff skill mix with patient needs and workload demands.
Be accountable for achieving key performance indicators related to quality, safety, and staff/patient experience.
Report and document incidents, taking appropriate actions as needed.
Person Specification:
Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with active UK NMC PIN.
Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Ward Manager or in a similar role.
Thorough knowledge of CQC regulations.
Proven experience in staff management, recruitment, and team motivation.
Strong understanding of staff induction, supervision, and appraisal processes.
Exceptional leadership skills with a collaborative approach.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Flexibility and availability to share on-call responsibilities in a 24-hour environment.

Location: 23-Bed Rehabilitation Service, Bury St Edmunds Salary: From £13.00 per hour (PAYE inclusive) + Uplifts for nights and weekends.

Shift Pattern: Flexible shifts to suit your schedule, Long Days and Nights available.
Role Overview: As a Mental Health Healthcare Assistant, you will work across two wards, delivering person-centred care and therapeutic interventions.
You'll play a key role in helping residents on their journey towards recovery and independence.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide personalised support to women with Personality Disorders, including Emotionally Unstable Personality Disorder (EUPD).
Implement individualised care plans and therapeutic interventions.
Assist with daily living activities, including personal care, medication management, and meal preparation.
Facilitate group activities, therapy sessions, and recreational outings.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, and occupational therapists.
Maintain accurate records of observations and interventions.
Requirements:
Previous experience in mental health or rehabilitation settings, particularly with Personality Disorders or EUPD, is highly desirable.
Reliable, punctual, and able to meet scheduled commitments.
Compassionate, non-judgemental approach to supporting individuals with complex needs.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Commitment to promoting dignity, respect, and autonomy for all residents.
