As a Field Service Engineer, you will be providing on-site installations, guarantee support, breakdown assistance, contract servicing, and calibration for our full range of company products.

This position requires flexibility and a willingness to travel within the region and occasionally internationally, with short notice.

Key Skills

Experience in working in diverse environments, including research laboratories, manufacturing plants, and universities.
HNC or equivalent qualification in a relevant technical discipline such as mechatronics, mechanics, electrical, electronic engineering, or equivalent.
Proficiency in both the local language and English, both verbal and written.
Previous field-based experience is advantageous.
Valid driving license without restrictions.
Electrical, Chemical, Nuclear safety certifications are a plus.
Experience in calibration and maintenance activities or procedures.
Troubleshooting experience with electro-mechanical or servo-hydraulic systems.


Responsibilities

Respond to requests for on-site service support promptly and professionally, including calibration, maintenance, and basic troubleshooting, with the goal of minimizing the need for further servicing.

Contribute to cost reduction and quality improvement efforts within the company.

Stay informed about the product life cycle to provide customers with guidance on potential obsolescence.

Report on competitive equipment and activities observed at customer sites.

Proactively identify leads for new machines, accessories, and other services.

Maintain regular communication with the Technical Supervisor to address service-related issues.
