My client has an urgent requirement for a senior or lead assembler for a new product line.

You will be responsible for daily production requirements in terms of quality and quantity

Key skills
Diverse assembly processes experience
Training other operators
Good understanding of customer deliverables and the impact of failure cost of poor quality
Considerable previous manufacturing and assembly experience
Experience of working with subassemblies
Experience of working to production targets
Understanding of lean manufacturing and 5S (Sort, Set In Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) process
Understanding of production costs to include waste, downtime, scrap and rework.
