Service Care Solutions are working alongside a successful local authority, based in South Yorkshire, which needs a Planning Senior Legal Officer to join its team.

ROLE: Planning Senior Officer

LOCATION: Doncaster City Council

Rate: £30 - £40 an hour umbrella

Contract Length: 3 months on going

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage complex planning applications, development proposals, and strategic projects from initiation to completion.


• Advise on potential planning constraints and provide solutions to overcome regulatory challenges.


• To support and advise on the planning enforcement process.

About you:

• Planning qualification to degree level (or equivalent) and willingness to work towards full membership of the RTPI, and evidence of continuing professional development.


• Experience in Policy planning within working in the local authority.


• Skill to clearly write and present reports and evidence on complex planning matters.
