Family Support Worker

Service care Solution are currently recruiting for a Family Support Worker in Thurrock

The Family Support Worker will work as a member of the Prevention and Support Service to provide support to children, young people and their families.

Pay rate - £14.63 per hour / £18 ltd (umbrella)

Main Responsibilities

As a Family Support Worker, you will be responsible for:

• To work with colleagues to achieve service plan objectives/targets.


• To participate in One to One Performance Development Reviews/Appraisals and contribute to the identification of your own and team development needs.


• To actively promote the Council's Equal Opportunity Policy and Diversity Strategy and observe the standard of conduct which prevents discrimination taking place.


• To ensure full compliance with the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 etc., the Council's Health and Safety Policy and all locally agreed safe methods of work.

Requirements:

• Enhanced DBS


• Experience in a similar role


• Full UK Driving Licence and use of own car
