Service Care Solutions are currently working alongside a proactive local authority, based in Herefordshire, which is in need of a Commercial Contracts Lawyer to join their team.

You will be joining a small team of lawyers dealing with a variety of matters, primarily contracts, grants, procurement and company law.

Role: Commercial Contracts Lawyer

Location: Herefordshire, remote!

Rate: £45ph-£50ph

Contract Length: 3 months ongoing, 37 hours a week

The Role:

• Handle a mixed caseload of subsidy control, company law, contract law and drafting a wide range of contracts including standard build contracts such as JCT or NEC4.


• When required, deputise for more senior members of the team


• Carry out any duties required for the successful running of the contracts and major projects team

The Person:

• A qualified barrister, solicitor or legal executive who is a fellow of CiLEX with an impressive knowledge of contract and company law


• You will be able to demonstrate experience and knowledge of subsidy control, company law, contract law and drafting a wide range of contracts including standard build contracts such as JCT or NEC4.
  
  This will ideally have been within the public sector.


• Knowledge of Data Protection legislation would be an advantage but not essential.
