A great new Pharmacist opportunity is now available near Bargoed with a highly rated local pharmacy team.

The team is well-known and well-established in the area, having been providing excellent community-oriented pharmacy care for over 50 years now.

With a fantastic reputation for their knowledge and willingness to help, the pharmacy is a firm favourite for prescriptions and a broad range of NHS and private services alongside (including seasonal vaccinations, emergency contraception, smoking cessation support, holiday healthcare, and advice for minor health concerns).

As a Pharmacist, you will join the team in delivering excellent pharmacy care for a varied patient base (aided by strong support staff) and contributing to the development of new projects in line with evolving public health needs – which will open up exciting opportunities for your CPD.

As there will be a greater focus on the clinical side, Independent Prescriber accreditation would be an advantage but is not essential to be considered.

This is a permanent position, and we can discuss full-time or part-time (32-36h per week, Mondays and Tuesdays fixed but otherwise flexible).

There is parking readily available around the pharmacy and local amenities close by as well.

Person specification:

• (Essential) Accredited MPharm degree, OSPAP qualification or equivalent
• (Essential) Registration with the GPhC as a Pharmacist
• (Desirable) Independent Prescriber qualified
