Service Care Solutions is seeking a Mechanical Inspector to oversee and ensure the quality of mechanical works on-site for a client in Islington.

The role involves site inspections, quality assurance, and project management, with a focus on meeting technical specifications, safety, and budgetary requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure all mechanical works comply with project specifications and legislation.


• Conduct site inspections and provide on-site quality assurance.


• Assist in preparing project reports and liaise with various stakeholders.


• Provide survey data to support scheme drawings and specifications.


• Collaborate with consultants and statutory authorities as needed.

Requirements:

• HNC in Building Services, Engineering, or equivalent experience.


• Strong knowledge of mechanical installations, gas works, and heating systems.


• Ability to write reports, solve technical problems, and manage small projects.


• Experience in supervising work in progress and liaising with design teams.


• Familiarity with statutory regulations and British Standards.
