Specialisation: Rapid assessment intensive support team (RAIST)

Hours: Monday - Friday | 9 am - 5pm | 12-hour days
Pay rate: £27ph

Role and Responsibilities:

• Mental Health assessment of Children and Young People aged 0-18 years


• Enhanced risk assessment, care planning and safety planning


• Community assessments and ward assessments


• Intensive support for 2 week period


• Support and guidance to junior staff

Nursing Qualifications and Requirements:

• Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) as a Mental Health Nurse.


• Fully enhanced DBS


• Community experience

Note: The hourly rate of £27 is paid via umbrella.

We do have an option to accrue, a ‘holiday pot', meaning your hourly rate will be £24.30 and you will have a build up of holiday to take when needed.

We offer a £250 bonus for starting a contract with SCS.
