A popular local pharmacy just outside of Carmarthen is now looking for a Pharmacist to join the team.

The pharmacy is a spacious store set in the heart of a warm and welcoming community, and is a firm choice for many across the area for their pharmacy needs.

The team is well-known for their keen expertise, professionalism, and ready smile for everyone who pops in – encouraging a pleasant and steady buzz, aided by the store’s convenient location right on the doorstep of local amenities, bus links, and parking spots.

In terms of pharmacy care, the team dispenses around 9-10,000 items per month and can offer visitors a good range of additional NHS and private services, including advisory services for minor ailments and medication reviews, seasonal vaccinations, emergency medicines, and healthy lifestyle support.

As a Pharmacist, you will have the support of a full and experienced team in dispensing prescriptions (new and repeat) for a varied patient base, and in delivering and developing additional services in line with evolving community needs – which will be rewarded through a commission scheme.

This is a permanent, full-time position; the pharmacy’s normal opening hours are Mon-Fri, 9am - 5.30/6pm (closed over weekends).

Person specification:

• (Essential) Accredited MPharm degree, OSPAP qualification or equivalent
• (Essential) Registration with the GPhC as a Pharmacist
