Service Care Legal are currently working alongside a Local Authority, based in the Leicestershire, which is in need of a Lawyer to join their Commercial Contracts and Procurement team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic Council and spearhead the direction of the department.

ROLE: Lawyer - Commercial Contracts and Procurement team

RATE: £45-£55ph umbrella

CONTRACT LENGTH: 3 months ongoing

LOCATION:: Leicestershire - can be done REMOTELY

The responsibilities of the Commercial Contracts lawyer role:

• Handle your own Commercial Contracts caseload from start to completion.
  
  Also advise on Procurement matters


• There will be a requirement to do non-contentious Construction contract matters, both JCT and NEC


• Assist other members of the team, when required, with their Commercial Contracts caseload

The Person:

• Someone with 3+ years of PQE in Commercial Contracts and Procurement law


• Someone who has worked directly for a Local Authority previously within a Commercial Contracts team


• Ideally someone with good Construction contract knowledge
