Family Support Worker

We are currently recruiting for a Family Support Worker to join an established team in the Wakefield area.

This position is:

* 37 hours per week

* Initial 3 month contract

The primary responsibility with this role is supervising and facilitating family time (contact) sessions for children and families who are subject to care proceedings.

There will be opportunities to deliver parenting support that is bespoke to needs of families.

Recording is a key skill as records may be required for Court purposes but also for the files of children and young people.

* Driving is essential to this position so we are looking for candidates with a full clean driving license and access to their own vehicle with business insurance.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

* You must have experience working with children, young people and families

* You must have a valid UK driving license
