A great new opportunity has just come up for a Senior Care Assistant (HCA) to join the staff bank at one of a selection of premium care homes in the Ferndown area, which will give you the option to pick up shifts as and when you want.

The homes fall under one of the UK’s Top 20 Care Home Groups in 2024, well-known for providing high-quality, person-centred care for people needing a little extra support to live well.

Each site is either purpose-built or lovingly refurbished to create a contemporary luxury home that can accommodate each resident’s own needs and preferences, and residents here have the added peace and quiet of the lovely Dorset countryside to enjoy.

As a Bank Senior Care Assistant, you’ll be supporting the more advanced elements of clinical care (such as medication and care planning) and supervising more junior members of the team in delivering top-level residential, dementia and respite care.

Your help will ensure each resident gets the support they need even when there are absences, such as due to illness or annual leave.

This is a bank opportunity for a Senior Care Assistant (ad-hoc shifts).

Person specification:

• (Essential) Previous professional experience as a Care Assistant in an elderly care setting
• (Essential) Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care (or equivalent)
