A leading pharmacy in the Scottish Highlands is now looking for a Pharmacist to join the team in supporting outstanding care for the local community.

In an idyllic location on the northernmost coast, Thurso sees more daylight hours than anywhere else in the UK in high summer, and in winter boasts one of the best spots on the mainland to see the Northern Lights.

With a port history dating back to Norse times and close links with the Orkney Islands, Thurso remains a bulwark for traditional sights and attractions while also offering contemporary Scottish entertainments – including golf, water and adventure sports, and its own local whisky distillery – amidst a beautifully rugged landscape.

The pharmacy itself is in a highly convenient location, within walking distance of local amenities, public transport stops, GP services and parking – and therefore is ideally placed to drop by for a broad range of healthcare needs.

The team shares the goal of delivering a consistently excellent experience for visitors from across the North and the Northern Isles, and as such, you’ll be offered further training and CPD opportunities through a well-developed support framework and service improvement initiatives.

Person specification:

• (Essential) Accredited MPharm degree, OSPAP qualification or equivalent
• (Essential) GPhC registration as a Pharmacist
