Our client based in Surrey is currently recruiting for a Capital Works Surveyor to join the team.

This is a full time, temporary, ongoing position offering £400 per day Umbrella LTD (Inside IR35).

The successful candidate will be responsible for the on-site monitoring, inspection, quality assurance, and compliance auditing of major housing capital contracts.

Responsibilities:

• Undertake property and dwelling inspections


• Monitoring, inspection, QA & compliance auditing of major housing capital contracts - including kitchen & bathroom refurbishment, roof renewal programme, major voids


• Quality Assurance & Compliance Auditing


• Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of all inspections, audits, and project activities.


• Produce detailed reports, including findings, recommendations, and compliance status.

Requirements:

• Degree in Building Surveying or a related field.


• Professional membership or qualification (e.g., RICS).


• Significant experience in building surveying, particularly in residential property.


• Proven track record in conducting on-site monitoring, inspections, and compliance auditing.


• Knowledge of relevant building regulations, standards, and codes of practice.
