The Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) known as Careline in Liverpool, is the front door service.

It brings together a number of professionals from different agencies.

The agencies work together and share information and use their combined knowledge to keep children and young people safe and ensure their needs are met.

The co-location of partners provides the opportunity for key agencies to share information and provide a faster, more co-ordinated response to referrals.

This assists in the early identification of safeguarding concerns and ensures that better decisions are made as all the key information relating to a family is available.

This role is a temporary Team Manager for this service and will be responsible for supporting adult services during out of hour shift cover.

Recent Team Manager experience in MASH, encompassing Children's and Adults services is essential.

You will have excellent engagement and professional relationship skills to be able to effectively work with partner agencies as part of the integrated MASH.

You will be an experienced Team Manager, who can work in a fast-paced environment and be able to analyse risk and make clear cut decisions to maintain the safety and welfare of children and young people.

You will be an inclusive manager who has strong leadership skills and can effective support diversely experienced social workers.

You will be passionate to drive and improve practice within the service.

This role is full time and the expectation is you will be in the office 5 days a week as often as possible.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Qualified Social Worker with relevant degree or equivalent qualification


• Registered with SWE


• Experience working with vulnerable children


• Ability to work independently and within a team


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills


• Previous management experience


• Full enhanced DBS
