Principal Design and Development Engineer required to work on optical detection systems design and development.
The ideal candidate will have a strong practical and theoretical background making them able to lead research, design and development teams as part of a wider Engineering department.
Skills
Principal or Senior Engineer experience, partly in a design for manufacture environment.
Post graduate min Masters level qualifications in Optics, LIDAR, instrument design or comparable.
Electronics design experience of electronic components or products using embedded software.
Embedded C bare metal coding.
Responsibilities
Leading Engineering product development.
Leading technical investigations and allocating resources.
Technical research
Mentoring other members of the Engineering team.
