Senior Social Worker - Initial Assessment/Transitions

Contract length : Initially 12 months

Hours per week : 36 hours per week

Rate of pay: £36ltd per hour

Job Summary

Hillingdon Council are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Social for their Initial Assessment/Transitions team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the initial assessment and transitions of clients, as well as supervising a team of social workers.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct initial assessments of clients and develop appropriate care plans


• Supervise a team of social workers and provide guidance and support


• Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and policies


• Develop and maintain effective relationships with clients and their families


• Provide training and development opportunities for staff

Requirements

• Qualified Social Worker with Social Work England registration


• Significant experience in initial assessments and transitions


• Experience in supervising a team of social workers


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
