Service Care Solutions has a new and exciting opportunity which has become available working as a Personal Advisor with Tameside Metropolitan Borough Council.

are currently looking for someone who is happy to work 37 hours per week.

Key responsibilities

• To take responsibility on a day to day basis for your individual caseload as allocated by the Team Leader(s) (Leaving Care Services) and to liaise closely with Pathway Coordinators, district based social workers and other service providers for Leaving Care and Young Homeless.


• To take day to day responsibility as a Personal Advisor to young people where allocated this task in line with responsibilities laid down in the Children (Leaving Care) Act.


• To contribute to the assessment and review of programmes of work with service users and to the coordination and organisation of services in the Department and with other agencies.

Essential Criteria

• Must be a car user and Own a car


• Must hold previous experience within previous Leaving Care Position


• NVQ Level 3 in Caring for Children and Young People, or Equivalent
