Occupational Therapist OT

A leading provider of supportive children’s services is looking for an Occupational Therapist to join the team in delivering tailored therapies for children experiencing barriers to learning.

The group is committed to providing students across London and Kent with an outstanding educational experience that opens unlimited doors.

Through providing a specialised learning setting, improving access to opportunities, and a robust support network not always readily available to young people with complex SEN, the group aims to cultivate a more inclusive system that allows students to choose their own path forward without limits to their aspirations.

You will benefit from a comprehensive and tailored induction programme that will set you up for success from the start, and gain access to further development opportunities down the line as part of a well-rounded CPD and career progression pathway – on top of clinical supervision, peer support, and online courses available through a dedicated skills academy.

This is a permanent, full-time position for a paediatrics-trained Occupational Therapist. You will primarily support specialist schools in the Croydon area, but this role will also involve travel to select schools in Kent.

We are primarily looking for term-time only at this stage but are open to discussing options for the full calendar year.

 

Person specification:


  • (Essential) HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist
  • (Essential) Previous paediatric experience (children and young people with SEND)
  • (Essential) Full UK driving licence and access to personal vehicle
