Team Leader: Cath Lab/Minor Procedures

A brilliant new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Team Leader: Cath Lab/Minor Procedures to work in an exceptional private hospital based in the Bingley, West Yorkshire area.

You will be working for one of UK's leading health care providers



The hospital provides care to patients on an in-patient and day-case basis with five operating theatres offering surgical procedures in a number of specialities including Orthopaedics, General surgery, Bariatric surgery, Plastics, Urology, ENT and Gynaecology for Private and NHS patients

As the Team Leader your key responsibilities include:



  • Support and deliver care and services in the minor procedure suite where we undertake procedures such as gynaecology, minor plastics and urology

  • Take charge of the department in the absence of the head of department, ensuring the team work within current company policies and guidelines, demonstrating the ability to prioritise care delivery, acknowledging the impact of the decision on other departments and meeting individual responsibilities in terms of health and safety

  • You will support the growth of cardiac intervention procedures and ensure Clinical KPIs are met evidence high standards of quality



The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:



  • Experience at senior level

  • Comprehensive understanding of relevant clinical standards

  • Experience of working in a Catheter Laboratory or Cardiology environment



  • A passion to deliver excellent patient centred care

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Able to work as part of a team but also initiative to work independently

  • The ability to make decisions and use your initiative



The successful Team Leader will receive an excellent salary up to £44,000 per annum.

This exciting position is a Full Time role working 37.5 hours a week.
