Salary: £25,982 - £28,243

We are currently seeking a Income and Invoicing Officer for a Housing Association in Leyland on a short term basis.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Prepare and generate invoices for services such as rechargeable repairs, management charges, and void recharges, including invoicing for independent living, interim, and general needs stock.

    Collaborate with the relevant service area to address disputes related to sundry debt invoices.

  • Engage with both internal and external clients to manage various administrative tasks, with a focus on streamlining invoicing processes.

  • Timely processing of Universal Credit and housing benefit notifications and invoices, with proactive communication with the corresponding benefit agencies in case of invoice disputes.

  • Handle inquiries related to outstanding debts to the business from both internal and external agencies and service providers, responding via telephone, email, or task tray.

  • Facilitate the payment of council tax exemptions and monitor the process.

  • Efficiently process all incoming invoices, including those related to utilities for landlord supplies and void periods.

    Verify all information to ensure accurate billing, preventing overpayment.

    Coordinate with relevant utility companies and maintain records to track value for money.


Candidate Profile:



  • Experience working with Utility companies (Preferable)

  • Invoicing experience

  • Experienced in Microsoft packages
