Our Client in the Public Sector based in South East London is currently looking for a Senior Strategic Planner - Urban Design to join their team as soon as possible.

This is a full time, Hybrid working, contract role based in Southwark who require the ideal candidate to have extensive experience and knowledge of planning within the public sector and to have great stakeholder engagement

The purpose of the role is provide spatial planning advice to and process large scale applications for developments for senior staff on development management, Local Development Documents and other mayoral concerns, including those arising from the proposals of other organizations and local planning authorities.

• Promote high quality design in accordance with the agenda by supporting Development Management officers with urban design advice on pre-application negotiations and reviews of referable planning applications.


• Contribute to and support the development and implementation of the Spatial Development Strategy, related supplementary planning guidance, policies masterplans and planning frameworks.

The client is looking to move quickly with this role and as such are offering £36 per hour Umbrella LTD to join their team.
