Job Description:
Post title: Senior Automation Developer & Operator Pay: £500 per day

Key Responsibilities:
The Role:
As the Senior Automation Developer & Operator, you will be responsible for leveraging automation technologies to optimise business processes, improve productivity, and drive digital transformation within the council.

You will play a key role in designing, developing, and operating automated solutions to streamline business processes and improve efficiency.


Key Responsibilities:




  • Develop, configure, and maintain RPA solutions using tools like UiPath and Blue Prism.

    Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify processes suitable for automation, analyse requirements, and create RPA/automation workflows.


  • Utilise Power Apps to create user-friendly, intuitive applications that automate specific tasks or processes.

    This may involve designing data models, building UI/UX interfaces, integrating with other systems, and deploying applications to end-users.


  • Leverage the Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Power Virtual Agents, to create end-to-end automation solutions.


  • Understand business requirements, analyse existing processes, and design automation solutions using RPA, Power Apps, and the Power Platform.

    Develop technical specifications, configure workflows, create custom connectors, and collaborate with cross-functional teams for successful implementation.


  • Monitor and manage deployed automation solutions, troubleshoot issues, handle exceptions, manage bot performance and scalability, and ensure continuous improvement of automated processes.

    Maintain documentation, conduct system upgrades, and stay updated with the latest trends in automation technologies.
