Service Care Solutions are working with Midlands Partnership NHS Foundation Trust to recruit a Band 5 Occupational Therapist to support a Mental Health Rotation service in the Shropshire area.

The successful candidate will work as part of the Mental Health Rotation Team and provide support to Adults of All Ages suffering with a range of Mental Health conditions.

The contract duration is for 3 months with the likelihood of extension.

This is a full-time placement with 37.5 hours available.

Part-time applications of 3 Days or more will also be considered.



Shifts: Monday to Friday, 09:00-17:00

Location: Shropshire

Pay: £20.00 p/h LTD

Bonus: £250 Sign-Up Bonus

Job Purpose - Band 5 Occupational Therapist

The post holder will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, carrying a defined clinical caseload for individuals.

The successful candidate will provide Occupational Therapy for individuals with mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Working in a variety of community and in patient mental health services and geographies.
  
  This may require flexibility working across pathways, dependent on skill and service need.


• Delivering a high quality clinical service to patients and their families.


• Care coordination of an identified caseload where appropriate with access to regular and robust supervision.
  
  


• Delivering occupational therapy interventions, in accordance with an agreed care plan, to an identified group of people experiencing mental health related difficulties.

Requirements

• Occupational Therapy qualification


• HCPC Registration


• Previous Mental Health experience


• UK Driving License and Access to Own Method of Transport
