If the above sounds like yourself our client within the Public Sector based in North London is currently recruiting for Building Control Technician to join their Track program/renewal team as soon as possible.

The client is offering a full time, temporary position on an ongoing basis with the ideal candidate having experience of working within a local authority supervising to ensure compliance with building control legislation is adhered to.

The Role

Key purpose of the role is to assist with the implementation of marketing, quality initiatives, recovery of fees and charges.

Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Plan Examination & Appraisal of Calculations


• Preparation and authorisation letters


• Enforcement including attendance of court


• Responding to building control matters from the public, councillors and MPs

The Candidate

To be considered for this role you will require a recognised degree in construction/surveying and membership of RICS or equivalent

The below skills would be beneficial for the role:

• Building Construction


• Structural Engineering


• Fire Safety


• Supervision of building work on site

The client is looking to move quickly with this role and as such are offering £350 - £380 per day Umbrella LTD Inside IR35.
