Sterling Cross Trading LLP

Physiotherapist

A leading UK charity supporting people in care, with SENDs and with complex health needs is now looking for a Physiotherapist to join their team, working term-time only within a specialist college environment in Manchester.

You will be working alongside an experienced MDT of Occupational Therapists, Speech and Language Therapists, Psychologists, Specialist Teachers and more to support young people (16-25 years) with needs that impact their learning, such as physical disabilities, ASD, ADHD and more.

As a Physiotherapist, you can expect to be delivering personalised therapies that support students’ health, life skills and educational development.

Through thorough assessment of each student’s requirements for intervention and full use of the college’s varied facilities (including hydrotherapy pool, rebound therapy equipment and postural management equipment), you will be vital to facilitating learning through aiding independence, motor skill building and sensory processing.

Should you wish to have a conversation with a functional lead to discuss further details, this can be arranged.

Continuity and stability of care are a priority to the team, meaning you will be able to support and build lasting relationships with students as they progress through the college, witnessing their development first-hand.

This is a permanent, term-time only role, covering school hours Mon-Fri.

This position would be ideally full-time (37.5h) but part-time can also be considered.

Term-time covers 43 weeks of the year, and your starting salary of £35,789.38 per year has already been pro-rata’d accordingly.
