Location - East Grinstad
Rate - £24- £28.00 PAYE Per hour (Paid Weekly by an Umbrella)

Support Clinical Directorates in establishing annual key business development aims and objectives, how those aims will be achieved and a framework for monitoring and tracking progress in order to understand potential business development opportunities

Support Clinical Directorates to develop their business effectively through the identification of all relevant business development objectives in line with QVH strategic objectives.

Provide advice and support to the clinical Directorates in producing clear and credible annual operational plans, identifying activity growth, constraints, resource requirements and efficiencies.

Plans will include milestones, interdependencies and linkages across all their work streams, service development initiatives and QIPP programmes.

Establish and maintain processes to identify all relevant potential commercial opportunities and proposals, including partnership models with other providers for delivery of services and any private patient opportunities.

Devise and undertake appropriate intelligence gathering, including market research and customer surveys, to help understand commercial opportunities with most potential.

Working in conjunction with the Associate Director Business Development, develop appropriate decision-making processes to assess business and tender opportunities to ensure submission is in line with best practice and Trust SFIs.

Tenders and Business Case Proposal Processes

Support and provide expert guidance to the clinical Directorates and services in preparing and submitting high-quality investment proposals (including revenue and capital business cases) and tender/bid documentation.

To ensure that proposals and tenders are aligned to the overall Trust strategy, support the delivery of the Trust objectives and are financially viable.

Present bids and business cases convincingly to external customers in order to gain new business, conveying complex commercial information clearly and succinctly.

To develop a process of systematic impact assessment and analysis of approved investment proposals and successful tenders through carrying out benefits realisation reviews.

Support the Associate Director Business Development in the development of Annual Forward Plans

Attend and coordinate the Business Case Review Group meetings and ensure that all outcomes are communicated to relevant stakeholders and actions completed within the agreed timescales

Formulate long term 5 year income plans consistent with QVH strategic objectives and which involve uncertainty and will impact across the whole of QVH Services
