Finance Technician

I am currently recruiting on behalf of a local authority for a Finance Technician in Lincolnshire (Hybrid) to work in a busy team as part of the Adult care finance team and wondered if you may be interested in the role?

The Role of Finance Technician

  • Daily monitoring of Adult Care mailbox/Reviewing queries to understand reasons for the payments outstanding

  • Completion of monitoring spreadsheet

  • Liaising with multiple partners - Adult Care operational team/Serco payments team and external residential and nursing providers

  • Verification and Calculation of interest due on late payments

  • Use of multiple systems including Microsoft Office/Care Management Database and Payments systems

  • Monitoring of Debt using corporate finance system

  • Completion of Office of Public Guardian requests

The Person required for Finance Technician

  • Has previous proven experience in a similar role in a local authority.

  • AAT part qualified or equivalent

  • Good rate of pay with a weekly payroll and Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm working pattern
