Calling all Family Lawyers in the West Midlands!

Service Care Legal are recruiting on behalf of a reputable law firm, based in Walsall, which is in need of an experienced Family Lawyer to join their team.

ROLE: Family Lawyer/Solicitor/Legal Executive or Barrister with 3+ years of PQE

LOCATION: Walsall, hybrid working

SALARY: £40,000 to £50,000 (depending on experience)

The Role of a Family Lawyer:

• Handle your own private family law caseload from start to completion and also handle your own advocacy


• The caseload will handle, but is not limited to, divorce, financial remedy, co-habitation and pre-nuptial agreements, private law children and injunction files


• From time to time you will be required to assist with public children advocacy

The Person:

• A qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive or Barrister with 3+ years of PQE in Family law


• Someone who has active working experience within a family law team; with a particular focus on privately and publicly funded divorce and matrimonial finance


• Someone who is capable of handling their own family law caseload from start to completion and is comfortable conducting advocacy


• Experience in public children advocacy would be advantageous but not essential as training can be provided
