Job Title: Housing Management Worker
Location: Middlesbrough
Contract Type: Temporary (6-Month Contract)
Working Hours: Full-Time (Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM)
Transport: Access to Own Vehicle and Ability to Drive Required

Job Description:
As a Housing Management Worker in Middlesbrough, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation and support of a portfolio of 20 properties.

Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of housing-related tasks, including liaising with external agencies, conducting health and safety inspections, raising repair requests, carrying out assessments, and supporting service users in their move toward independent living.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Provide housing-related support to individuals residing in 20 properties.

  • Liaise effectively with external agencies to address the needs of service users.

  • Conduct health and safety inspections to ensure properties meet compliance standards.

  • Raise repair requests and follow up to ensure timely resolution.

  • Carry out assessments to determine service user needs and support requirements.

  • Assist service users with their move-on plans toward independent living.

  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of housing management activities.

  • Promote a safe and supportive living environment for service users.



Qualifications and Skills:



  • Access to own vehicle and the ability to drive is essential for property visits.

  • Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) clearance is mandatory.

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Knowledge of housing management practices and procedures is advantageous.

  • Previous experience in a similar role within the housing sector is desirable.



Contract Details:
