We might just have the opportunity for you here at Arch Finance, as we're looking a Payroll Executive to join us.


Working as a Payroll Executive you will be responsible for the day to day running of our PAYE payroll service and working with people in your team, external organisations and agency workers.

You will play an important and supportive role in ensuring the smooth and helpful running of this service.



The ideal candidate will be engaging, keen to learn, helpful and able to keep focused on the task in hand.

A positive customer service outlook and attention to detail important.

Key Responsibilities:
, Processing payroll for temporary workers, ensuring all hours are processed correctly and on time
, Answering calls and responding to emails regarding queries that can arise about taxation or payslip queries
, Speaking to people to help them understand any payslip or tax queries they may have
, Working as part of a team within an open plan, friendly and positive environment
, Raise fraudulent or potentially fraudulent activity
, Talking about improvements that you think could be made or changes you would like to see
, Learning about new systems and software

About You:
The ideal candidate will have an understanding of the PAYE system and personal taxation.

You like to focus on your own work but also be part of a team.

You believe in a good customer service experience and care about the work you do and the people you work with.

Innovation is important and you want to help drive change, innovate and make improvements.



  • Experience using Microsoft packages such as Word and Excel

  • Can prioritise, work to deadlines, and manage time efficiently

  • Ability to deal with ongoing queries professionally and effectively.

  • An excellent eye for detail with the ability to use your initiative and follow sensible processes

  • Experience working in an office environment

  • Passion for finance and experience working in payroll and/or PAYE

  • Desire to learn and work as part of a team

  • Payroll OR working PAYE experience is essential.
