Community Registered Mental Health Nurse - Perinatal

Opportunity available for a Registered Mental Health Nurse to work within Mental Health Perinatal Team, Based in Oxford

The team sits within a Perinatal Mental Health Team with the role predominantly being responsible for the clinical triage of service users who access Mental Health Services during pregnancy and in the first-year post-partum and signposting on to the most appropriate service which may include follow up with the perinatal mental health team.

You will conduct social and health assessments involving assessment of risk within the support framework of the perinatal mental health team and in a location acceptable to the service user usually within the service user's home, using the perinatal assessment document.

As part of this role you will ensure that each assessment is conducted collaboratively in consultation/agreement with the service user and their carer, where available, and the assessment will be informed by the wider multidisciplinary team involved with the birth parent during the perinatal period, including, but not exclusively midwifery and health visiting.

You will also give relevant advice and guidance to service users and callers including signposting out of services, transferring to IAPT and close liaison with GP's and other agencies.

The hours for this role are Full Time with shifts being Monday to Friday

The hourly rate for this role is: £30 Per Hour
